“Christmas Lights” Charity Event For Underprivileged Kids Of Greater Sacramento

If we care about how society will look tomorrow, how many people will go to prisons or choose to contribute peacefully to the world – we have to act now, and make sure that kids develop trust and appreciation instead of disappointment and depression.

In Christmas time we all become parents to kids, whose blood parents are not around or are incapable to offer love and care they deserve and expect to receive.

Why support “Christmas Lights”?

Because there are no other hands but yours to give to disadvantaged kids.

Five years ago, Russian American Media acted on the above calling by organizing a unique event – “Christmas Lights”. Months in advance our community prepares hundreds of gifts for disadvantaged kids. On a Magical night of December, the kids from local Foster homes and low-income families are gathered together around our office (what a sight!) and board limousines, provided by Coastal Breeze Limousine.

They are in for three-our ride around most beautifully decorated Christmas sights of Sacramento, followed by dinner and games at Pappa Jones Pizza and interactive theatrical show at Ashley Furniture Homestore. Imagine a kid, who has not received a present in the entire year, suddenly been treated like a king for a night. This is a true Christmas magic, which can transform individual’s life and show that the world cares, that abundance and love is out there for them to have.

Last year over 300 kids benefited from the event, and there are hundreds of more, who need to have this experience this year.

Together we must increase kids trust.

If we don’t give them our love today, we’ll have to give tax money to correction system tomorrow.

Your support of this event in any shape or form is extremely important.

It has not been easy to organize and finance this event, but we are committed to making it happen every year. Such companies as Wells Fargo Bank, Ashley Furniture Home Store and Coastal Breeze Limosine sponsored the event last year.

Your company will receive a great deal of publicity by participating in this event. Together with the International Kids Festival, this Charity event constitute two most publicized, discussed and attended events in more than 250 thousand Russian-speaking community of Greater Sacramento.

Don’t miss a chance to make a world of difference!

Please join us Thursday, December 9, 2010 to make this Christmas happen for the disadvantaged kids.
